Welcome to Alex Barmpas Physio. By booking or attending our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Services

Alex Barmpas Physio provides physiotherapy, movement assessments, running coaching, and related health and wellness services. Our treatments are designed to support your recovery, enhance performance, and promote long-term health.

All services are provided by qualified practitioners; however, individual results may vary depending on personal circumstances and adherence to treatment plans.

2. Medical Disclaimer

  • Physiotherapy is not a substitute for emergency medical care.

  • We do not diagnose or treat conditions outside the scope of physiotherapy.

  • You are responsible for providing accurate, up-to-date medical information before treatment.

  • If you are under the care of another healthcare provider, you may be advised to seek medical clearance before beginning physiotherapy with us.​

3. Appointments & Cancellations

  • Appointments must be booked in advance.

  • Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice. Appointments cancelled with less notice may be subject to the full session fee.

  • If you arrive late, your session may be shortened but charged at the full rate.

4. Payments & Fees

  • Payment is due at the time of booking or at the appointment.

5. Health & Safety

  • Clients are expected to follow their physiotherapist’s advice during and after sessions.

  • Failure to follow treatment recommendations may reduce effectiveness and increase the risk of further injury.

  • Please inform your therapist of any changes in your health, medications, or injuries.

6. Liability

While every effort is made to ensure your safety, Alex Barmpas Physio cannot accept responsibility for:

  • Injuries resulting from failure to follow professional advice,

  • Misrepresentation of your medical history,

  • Or activities undertaken outside of our care.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for negligence, fraud, or any matter which cannot legally be excluded.​​

7. Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • All client records are kept strictly confidential in line with UK GDPR and professional standards.

  • We will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except where legally required.

8. Code of Conduct

  • We maintain a respectful, professional environment and expect clients to do the same.

  • Aggressive, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour towards staff or other clients will not be tolerated and may result in termination of services.
